What to Expect From a Matched Lender
Partner lenders in our network typically offer online consumer installment loans, generally in the $200 to $3,500 range, with repayment terms between 6 and 12 months. Getting matched involves a credit check as part of the approval process. Beyond that, the exact rate, terms, and approval decision are entirely up to the lender you’re matched with. Wise Loan doesn’t set or guarantee any of it.
Is This the same as Getting a Loan Directly from Wise Loan?
No. This is worth stating clearly. When you’re matched with a lender through this service, your loan agreement, your repayment schedule, and your ongoing relationship are with that lender. Wise Loan’s role ends once the match is made. If you want a loan where Wise Loan is the lender, that’s only available in states where we hold a direct license.
Why Isn't Wise Loan a Direct Lender in Every State?
Each state sets its own rules for who can lend money and under what conditions, and lenders have to apply for a license in each one individually. Wise Loan currently holds direct lending licenses in a specific set of states. In the rest, we built this matching service so people can still apply.
